Two Mile Creek

Two Mile Creek

The Spring morning was chilly but the sun was bright, winds were minimal, water was flowing and the birds were alive with song. This morning I took a walk along Two Mile Creek in Tonawanda N.Y, a small waterway that leads into the Niagara river. I was able to capture not only the serene sound of the birds and creek but a reminder in the distant, that civilization was still nearby.

This is actually two recordings from my walk merged into one short binaural recording were you will hear Red-Winged black birds that perched along the creek on cattails , mourning doves with their soft coo and a Downy Woodpecker call as well as a distant drum.

This audio was captured using the Roland cs-10em binaural recorder headphones to the Tascam DR-50X
